This module is identical to the default Latest News module that ships with Joomal! except that a new parameter is included so that you can limit the number of characters displayed in the title. This is useful when you have a module in a tight location and don't want line wraps.

Like it's predecessor, this module offers a smart and eye-catching image rotating mechanism (aka, 'slideshow') from a folder of images.  This version gives you the opportunity to randomize the display order on each page refresh.

The module is based on mod_mostread which comes as a default module in Joomla and powers the "Popular Items" module if Joomla!'s sample data is used during installation.

The modifcation in mod_mostread_adv allows you to limit the title length displayed in the module. This is useful if you want to maintain a certain look to your list of popular items.

This mambot, based on RokMember from rockettheme.com, is used within a content item to hide sections of the content from viewers without the appropriate login credentials. By enclosing the content in tags, only Administrators and Super Administrators will be able to view the content. Content outside the tags will be displayed as normal.

RokSpecial can be used with RokGuest and RokMember to dynamically control content items depending on login credentials. More details can be found on rockettheme.com.
