Yes it is there, "Insert Image" and then to the right "Insert Pagebreak", but from what I have seen it doesnt work for just users that arent logged in.

What I, and others are asking for is the upload image area that was originally at the bottom of extcalendar. And from what I have seen looking at the code, all of the original code for this feature in extcalendar is still there in this one. So adding this feature back in wouldn't take long at all. The developer here could even add this as an option to just those that wanted it.

If the idea was to make people happy that is.

Count me in as another person who would beg to get a simpler option for users to add images.  It didn't dawn until now when I got an email from one of our members that they couldn't upload their event flyer; instead, they had access to all the images from our own internal folders.  That is definitely NOT something we want users to be able to access!  How in the world can you leave something like that and allow users to be able to go in and delete every image you have on your site?  I can't BELIEVE that's being allowed to remain, as is, based on the comments I've read here.

We have an entertainment news site for our city, and we want users to be able to post their events with as much as ease as possible.  But, of course, we don't want to leave ourselves open to some serious security issues!

PLEASE consider adding another option for users outside of the admin/editors to be able to upload images without giving them access to our folders.  In the meantime, we, too, have to consider using another calendar option or disable the image feature entirely - is there a way to do that?  Or, at the least, can we change the editor?

I think this is pathetic.
Customers and would be customers are asking for a feature (even offering to pay) and they are being put down and ignored.I am blown away to the fact that you suggested to someone previously on this thread that he should tutor his users (old ladies) on how to use an OTT wysiwyg to simply add a pic/logo/flyer to an event!

Frontend submitting in joomla components need to be user friendly and easy.
I can no longer be bothered with J cal Pro or Jevents for the simple fact that after all the time they have been around that they are still lacking this simple feature.

I need a way for my community members to add an event and upload a pic/logo/flyer quicky.
The image should be resized on upload using gd or image magik (please don´t say not all hosts have it  - as was the excuse years ago - 99% do).
The uploaded image should not appear in a shared folder for all to browse and use and it should not use the outdated mosimage system.
