I registered and payed through PayPal ($5) for JCalPro but my subscription doesn't seem to be activated. Am I doing something wrong? Can I get it via email? (I also sent in a message via the contact form, sorry, getting antsy to instal this awesome tool :-)

As we note on the subscription page, when you pay by eCheck, your subscription is not approved until the funds clear at paypal. This usually takes 5 business days.

Unfortunately, paypal notifies the payee (i.e. you) that the payment is complete, even though the funds have not cleared.

Paying with credit card (paypal or 2Checkout) or with a paypal account does not experience this delay.

P.S. I just e-mailed you a similar message.

As a follow-up, if your subscription activates (as shown in the "My Subscription" area) but you still can't download, try using Firefox or some other browser. We are getting scattered reports of users with successful payments (non-eCheck payments) having trouble in IE7.

Having similar trouble.  Paid via PayPal and I'm getting "No active or expired subscriptions" message.  Tried Firefox as well.

Just for anyone having similar issue and have paid via Paypal it seems that the funds need to be cleared first before the download is activated.

Not the ideal situation as I may not be able to access my download when it is activated.  It would be better that the good faith of paying a subscription is returned with a good faith of access being permitted at the same time.  Now I am not sure of the past or what has occurred and maybe there is a reason the devs have no good faith to allow immediate download once paid but it is not a good start to what appeared to be a positive product.

Thanks for reading

This user paid with an eCheck, which takes 4-5 business days to clear. Direct paypal payments or paypal credit card transactions work just fine (i.e. immediate access).

FYI, paying by eChecks has been discontinued due to the prolonged wait times for clearance.

The only issue experienced now by some users is that they occasionally exit their browser session without returning to this site.

If your payment notice has arrived by e-mail, please forward it to us with your site username using the e-mail form and we'll get you sorted. Please allow 1-2 business days for processing.
