I have been using jcal (1.5) for over a year and have been able to login on the frontend and add/edit events.  Suddenly when I login I don't see the editor buttons on the calendar.  I checked the settings and frontend is enabled for users with editor permission.  I have a menu item linked to the jcalpro component.  This does display the calendar but the editor buttons don't show up. I have read the posts where edit problems have been discussed but don't see my situation.

Can someone help me with this?

Have you checked that the global configuration for your site still says wysiwyg editor

Have you checked that the settings for the use, in user manager, still says wysiwyg editor

Thanks for the reply.  I did find the problem.  My user manager settings had somehow been changed.
