Some things I think I'm discovering...

 - Event details pop-open in a new window and don't show description.

 - When editing a publicly-added event from the back-end, the description is showing up in a field marked "Mobile Phone"! Perhaps that is why the description doesn't show when an event details window pops open?

 - Pop-up window for event says "Powered By JCal Pro 1.0".

 - Opening even details in same window as site doesn't show description or title.

Think I'm losing my mind or something is messed up! Upgrade was totally by the book and appeared to work flawlessly. Joomla is latest version.

Site is http://NYSDOIT.org

Thoughts?

The "Mobile Phone" label is an incorrect string in the admin form.

The fact that the popup says "1.0" is pretty important. Can you look at the comments in file "/components/com_jcalpro/cal.popup.php" to see if it says it is version 1.0 or 1.5 of that file?

I'm code challenged, but the information below from the top of the cal.popup.php file would seem to indicate the latest version.

Code:

JCal Pro v1.5.0
Copyright (c) 2006-2007 Anything-Digital.com
**********************************************
JCal Pro is a fork of the existing Extcalendar component for Joomla!
(com_extcal_0_9_2_RC4.zip from mamboguru.com).
Extcal (http://sourceforge.net/projects/extcal) was renamed
and adapted to become a Mambo/Joomla! component by
Matthew Friedman, and further modified by David McKinnis
(mamboguru.com) to repair some security holes.

The 1.0 issue was just an oversight. This has been corrected in the most recent version avaiable (v1.5.0.1). The mobile phone issue and some other important fixes were updated in v1.5.0.2 (which i will load now).

Pop-up windows still show version 1.0 of JCal Pro, still don't show titles or descriptions.

Mobile Phone field label is now correct.

I believe that all of these issues have been resolved in the latest release.
