Hello,

What is this?
xxxxxx/components/com_jcalpro/upload/deprecated%20remove%20it%20sooner%20or%20later
Showing as a broken image link in 1.5.0.2
can be found right to the details of the event.

PS: Using IE7, Firefox shows no broken image

Can you create a new event and see if the error still shows for the new event when viewing the event description. We think the problem might be caused by some old extcal artifacts, and creating/viewing a new event made with JCal will tell us this.

Unfortunately, this is being inserted when you create new records from the front-end. It is a piece of code from an old version of the program that should be removed or commented out:

Line 314 of "admin_events.php":
Code:
//$picture = 'deprecated%20remove%20it%20sooner%20or%20later';

Unfortunately, events created through the front-end may have this stored in the "picture" field of the event record. You may have to edit those out of the datbase by hand.

Done, thanks!

PS: there is no need to manipulate the database by hand.
Just edit event via frontend and click on update event.

I did the changes to admin_events.php
After this the broken image went away, when updating the event.

The issue has been addressed in the forthcoming Release Candidate v1.5.2.

THANKS!  Your fix worked perfectly!  I commented the line, went to my front end, and clicked "Update Event" on each event with the broken link. The broken link is now gone. I'm glad to see that this will be fixed in the upcoming release v1.5.2.  THANKS, AGAIN!
