functions.inc.php Converts Linebreaks to <br />'s on line 835:

$string = nl2br($string);

This works perfectly, when you use a simple Textarea for Input - however, if you use a WYSIWYG Editor (like JCE), these normally already set Linebreaks, which results in nastly double-breaks.

I fixed it on my Site by documenting it out, but the proper way would probably be to query for the User's Editor and only apply nl2br, when there's no WYSIWYG-Editor.

I do have the same problem but cannot find the mentioned code line.
Do have Jacal Pro RC 1.5.2

Any ideas what to do against double breaks?

It is very anoying!

Go on "Suchen"(search), add "Suhl" and take a look. The 1st 2 posts are edited in JCal. Compare them to the others, not in JCal edited posts (The list should look like the non edited posts)!

What can be done?
