Like many extensions, JCal Pro does not yet support Joomla 1.5.

Like many extensions, JCal Pro does not yet support Joomla 1.5.

not even in legacy mode? what a shame, because I'm starting with joomla 1.5 and jcal seems to be the best calendar.

I now see I was confused with the 1.5.3 jcal version, I thought it was for joomla 1.5

Hope my 5$ help the team to work harder  Cheesy Cheesy

Thanks

Strange ... but. Nothing worked for me, except ... except that i swaped the default language for the whole site (My site is an two languages ... Hellenic(gr) and English).

When i swapped the site's Default Language to English, it just worked. Of course at the same time i had already applied the "patch" for the admin.jcalpro.php file and disabled the GZIP compression.

After that, i re-enabled the GZIP compression and the COM still working, but if try to change site's default language ... there it goes again ... white-screen.

Hope that this might help some guys still having problems.

Rich's Fix worked for me too. A textbook case, and I fixed it totally by trading those two lines in my joomla explorer.

Thanks Rich!
