when i click one of the categories on the bottom of the page i get no events in this categorie and an error...

The only time I get that error is if there are no records found for the search in question. It does not just happen here, it happens everywhere in RC3. Adding a single record gets rid of the message. It could also be that the php error sensitivity is set too high.
