Is there support for rss feeds in JCal?

Some 'feeds' are mentioned in the feature list. I could really use rss support to include events to multiple sites. So, does 1.6 support them?

The 'feeds' in that case are remote event feeds from the event server component (yet to be released).

RSS is something we want, but isn't on the schedule just yet.

have you thought about working out something with an API for upcoming.com...like the ability to post and/or receive events from designated upcoming users or groups??

Any news on this yet? It is really important to be able to send our events out to RSS subscribers! Pls advise.

I vote for this as a very high priority, too.
Also wondering if there is a Joomla trick to make this happen - like a way to pull upcoming events into a content page so they would show up in Joomla's RSS feeds?

I second/third/fourth it.

Can you talk to the team for DS_Syndicate to see if there is a way to integrate JCal feeds into the DS Component. It's huge improvement over the core J! syndicate component. For those of you who don't know (someone please correct me if I am wrong), the core syndicate will ONLY publish "front page" items. DS let's you choose the sections/categories you want to have in your feed. Most of the sites I build don't use the front page system, as it's weak, at best.

Being able to integrate component and content feeds into one would be great.
