hello,

at first I will apologize if I haven't searched enough for the same topic but maybe I am blind ^^

Following problem: if user is logged in as registered user, than he is not able to see any event.
I have 4 categories, 2 of them for registered and 2 of them for public frontend.

If the same user is logged out than he can see every event, even the registered ones.

I am using Jcal 1.6 with the core module and the mini calendar and joomla 1.5.

Can anybody help me?

Thanks in advance.

In my very humble opinion the origin of the problem lies here:

I would like an official comment too.

This issue is a major 'bug' and i would like to hear in which span of time it can be resolved ... approximately.
If this takes too long i have to switch to another (paid) calendar solution.

All respect to the current developers, JCal is an awesome component ... but this 'bug' is too big to be unresolved ... or to be unanswered

Thank you!

Is there a possibility this conflicts with adding data on the frontpage?

"Who Can Submit New Events" was restricted to "registered users"
This doesn't work anymore, in fact no-one can add info, even the superadmin can't add events on the front.
Setting the "Who Can Submit New Events" to "Public Front End" is the only option

thx
