A config item that allows you to change the display format of the dates in the admin events list page using the standard date() format

A way to change the sort order of the listing items without coding the php would be good.

If the listing item is a recurring event maybe show that somewhere.

thoughts?

The ability to copy an event to a new date/time would be great for those irregularly recurring events.

Alternately, under the recurring section, perhaps the ability to simply add another date

Yeah, those would be cool features.

I just want to say thanks so much for listening to all the requests for additional options on the recurring events - it's certainly going to make life so much easier for me at least.  I've gotten round the issue of irregularly happening recurring events by just publishing/unpublishing but that requires me to remember to do these at the right time, so will appreciate a bit more flexibility in the 1.6 version.  Looks great to me as it stands, but I've a couple of very minor things that might be nice and are maybe already possible to do (by me) but I've not got the knowledge so be happy to be educated.

When a visitor clicks on a date and it opens up the calendar view, while it's pretty obvious to most how to get at the event info at that point, I feel there may be those who're so new to the net that some aspects may not be.  For e.g. I only discovered myself today that the category links were not only clickable, but also comprised a search facility and thought it might be nice if I'd the means of providing a bit on info about that underneath the calendar but couldn't figure out how to do so easily, since I think the (calendar) page is generated by JCal?  Hope I'm making sense in this - basically underneath the calendar I want to be able to write "Click on the category links to see all events for that category" or something to that effect.

Overall, I'd just like to have some way of providing info on how visitors can use the full calendar to best advantage since some may not realise they can do so with the links to monthly/weekly views etc.

But thanks again - it's THE best one around and the fact you guys keep on trying to accomodate everyone's views and suggestions makes it all the more so IMHO!!  Cool

Hi there,

first of all: Thanks for the many improvements in 1.6.x!

I am wondering if the feature to select "every first friday" or "every fifth saturday" could be adjusted to include a "every last friday" of the month, because that would be something that really helps. The feature as it is now is good for events at the beginning of each month, but the problem is still the end.

Cheers, and thumbs up.
