I have installed J Cal Pro 1.6 to Joomla 1.5 RC4. Everything seems to work fine and I need to make the theme to match my site. Do you have any recommendation or tutorial in order to change the default css.
I am trying to do it on my own, but each time I change something I have to upload it to my site so I can see the result.

Also I have another question, I use a template for Joomla from Rockettheme (Dimension) which uses java script as well. I think that the Latest Events Mod conflicts with rokslide module from rockettheme.

Thank you for your time and help.

Isn't there anyone that could reply my questions?

I am quite disappointed from the support of this forum. I have made a very simple and stupid question, but there isn't any one from the administrators, the moderators or even a visitor that could give me a reply.

What is the purpose of the forum if you can't give a reply to a user that has already purchased and download your software?

I'm not one of the developers, so I can't guarantee that the CSS classes will all be the same in the next beta, but as far as the testing part, I recommend setting up a test server on your own computer.

If you're using Windows, Xampp (http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html) is a fairly easy to set up all in 1 package that sets up a server with php/mysql support in just a few clicks.  It still has a few issues with Vista, but works on most other versions of Windows without any problems.

If you're using Linux/Unix/BSD/etc, you may already have a server installed.

After you've installed the server on your local computer, and install Joomla/Jcal on it, just go to http://localhost in your own browser and click refresh after you change the css file.  You won't need to upload anything to test it.

Another way would be to install a Firefox Plugin like Firebug, as you can make the changes in real time in the bottom of your browser window, and then save them to your CSS file after you're happy with them.

I responded yesterday afternoon, but just noticed that my post was filtered as spam (probably b/c I posted a link to the software I mentioned).  Below is a repost without the links...

If you're using Windows, Xampp is a fairly easy to set up all in 1 package that sets up a server with php/mysql support in just a few clicks.  It still has a few issues with Vista's permissions, but works on most other versions of Windows without any problems.  It also has versions for Mac/Linux/etc, but I've never tried those.

After you've installed the server on your local computer, and install your Joomla/Jcal on it, just localhost in your web browser and click refresh to update it after you change the css file.  You won't need to upload anything to test it.

Another way would be to install a Firefox Plugin like Firebug, which lets you make the changes in real time in the bottom of your browser window, and then save them to your CSS file after you're happy with them.
