Hello,
I have purchased 1.6 and tried to install on it my test site.   When I install the plug in I get the following message.

Component Install: Another Component is already using directory: "/home/rickbarl/public_html/components/com_jcalpro"

I have legacy mode enabled.

Any Suggestions.

Some of the most likely possibilities are that either

• it partially installed the first time you tried and left some files in that folder
• you tried installing Jcal 1.5 first and didn't remove it (or it didn't remove completely)

First, try going to the list of installed components, and if Jcal shows as installed, then remove it.

If that doesn't work, you might then try FTPing to your server (or you can use your site's control panel if it has one), and manually removing the Jcal directories.  In addition to the /components/com_jcalpro folder shown in the message, there may also be one under /administrator/components/com_jcalpro

Once those folders are gone, hopefully you'll be able to install without the error.
