Functionality like this:

Would be a perfect compliment to the category filter search.

Imagine being able to specify a category and limit your search down to the week. For large archives this would be a wonderful feature.

I can get you the source code used to deploy the date range filtering on the website. I am not the programmer, but I did work on the production.

They are interested in category filtering but need to maintain the ability to limit searches by date range.

We are looking at additional features now. The only 'problem' with this feature is that it only applies to content. Having the date filtering visible when one search for just a weblink search for example might be misleading.

Of course, we could display that only if the content is being searched. I'll take a look and maybe we can add it. Please post the code here as an attachment (zip file).

Sorry for the delay in my reply. We had some security issues with this particular server and it was locked down for awhile. See attached for the date range filtering code, let me know what you think please.
