Hello,
after installing advanced search when i try to install a new mambot i get this error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getTagName() on a non-object in .../public_html/administrator/components/com_installer/mambot/mambot.php on line 69

I wasnt sure if the problem was with this component so i unistall advanced search and mambot installation worked fine.

Do you have any solution in mind?

thank you.

I just discovered that the content of these xml files:

a)bot_menusearch.xml
b)contentauthor.searchbot.xml

is the same as the php files. This is the reason for the problem. I downloaded again the component and try to install for second time but same problem again.

Where can i find those files? Could you please help me?

Did you have another version of Advanced Search installed prior ot the new release? Do you get the errors if you use the English language files?

I added $database to the globals list at line 74 in search_adv.php.  I'm not sure why I had to do this but I looked at the search.php file in the regular search component and saw some additional globals and started adding them one by one to fix.
