Hi there,

I need to have a search on my site that can search different components / modules.

Especially I want to combine one searchbar and then choose from an additional "category dropdown" which modul to search (especially mosetstree, Community Builder, a news plugin etc..)

Maybe there could also be 2 search fields for detailed search parameters like:

"general" and "city" to search f.e. mosetstree..

Can this be done with Advanced Search or is there another solution at all??? AJAX preferred!

My solution so far is putting all single searches from all modules in just one place like a mootools AJAX module. Then I switch between them...

Please help  Huh

This will not be possible with Advanced Search out-of-the-box. Sounds like a large custom job.
