I tried the linking solution found here. But I still get an Access Denied error for all search results.

URL -  hstoday.us
Version - Joomla 1.5

Link is under Main Menu > Resources > Site Search. The search box is also using Advanced Search.

I tried adding an item id and then re-creating the menu link. But it didn't work.

I tried adding an item id and then re-creating the menu link. But it didn't work.

The ItemID in the module should match the ItemID of the site search menu Item. In your case, this is 294. However, this does not appear to be your problem. Try unpublishing the module, then re-create your link to the Adv Search component. Then test if the component works as expected before trying to trouble-shoot the module.

OK, unpublished the module and deleted the link. re-linked and tried the search. Same results--access denied.

We can't replicate this. You can PM me login details, but not sure that will help. You have the latest version of joomla?
