Before posting your support issue, please upgrade to Exposé RC4.6.2. This is required for numerous features, and most importantly, will ensure that the XML file you are using is the correct format to be interpreted by the modules.
Before beginning, note that you must backup your entire Joomla! site and database before starting. 2. Backup your IMG and XML folders and config.xml file from your existing Exposé installation. Also note the current settings in the album manager.
3. From the Joomla! backend component installer, uninstall Exposé.
4. From the Joomla! backend component installer, install Exposé RC4 (
download).
5. Clear your browser cache and restart your browser.
6. Delete the IMG and XML folders in the new Exposé installation. Copy your backed-up versions of the IMG and XML folders into your new Exposé installation.
7. In the Joomla! backend, edit the Exposé configuration to match the settings found in config.xml file you backed up earlier.
8. Log into the Exposé album manager (default password = manager). If prompted to rebuild your XML files, agree.
9. Open the Exposé album manager and apply the appropriate settings.
10. Logout of album manager and change your Exposé album manager password.
