Well, I saw 5 people, (plus myself) who hinted that this is a feature that's important to them. 2 of those people (plus myself) said that they would be willing to pay $50 to have this feature. That's $150 promised, $300 likely. Not making demands here, but this IS a request area, and there ARE people willing to put their money where their mouth is. I guess the question that needs to be answered is how much is needed to make it happen?

I bought this component, it never occurring to me that you wouldn't be able to import events from ics or csv. It is utterly basic to most people's requirement to be able to get stuff out of Excel or Outlook. We are a cricket club and have around 200 fixtures a year which come to us on spreadsheets from the various leagues we play in. I'm willing to knock them into shape but I'm not at all willing to retype the lot.

Nice looking product but useless to me (and I suspect hundreds of others) until import and export is introduced.

If you're familiar with sql and can use phpmyadmin then this is definitely possible. I do it all the time.

The trick is to create one event in jcal and then use phpmyadmin to export it to a csv or excel spreadsheet.

Now you can see the db structure of jcal and its not too hard to then take your fixture list and make it match the format and inport it into jcal using phpmyadmin
