I would like a feature where each registered member has a private calendar.  In addition,
I want the site to have a site-wide group calendar.

I want members to have the option, and configurable permissions, to declare events "public".
Such events would queue waiting approval before they appear on the group calendar.

I want the site administrators to be able to declare that certain group events
appear on the per-member calendar of either specific, designated members or all members.

these would really be great.
mostly, the first and the second one.

now, I'm stuck with rasheed's mod (http://dev.anything-digital.com/smf_forums/index.php?topic=1230.msg4486), 'till I have some spare time to search for a workaround, but I really miss the option for setting site-wide events.

I think this is the best thread to post my feature request.
It may be redundant so forgive me.

I would like for the Upcoming Events to be viewable to everyone on the homepage and not only to registered and logged-in members. Does it do that now? If so, where should I make changes?

Because it's this way, when I look at "Categories" and not logged in, there is a long error message.
