I have purchased component Ill be there RSVP and I am having trouble with users registering for the same session twice or more. E.g. John Doe with Email jd@jd.com can register for the same event over and over using the same details. There appears to be no validation of email address. Is there a way to stop this?

Hi kyleforde,

Welcome to the forum.

No. As I see it RSVP is allowing the customer to say they do want an extra space at the session if they register again.

PS If this is an issue it might be worth allowing over registration to cope with potential duplicates via the Max # Registrations.

For the benefit of others (as kyleforde has spotted I think):
If you restrict the registrations to registered users only. It will force them to see their current registration details if they have any and only offer update or cancellation.

Components > Ill Be There > Configuration > Registration Control >
Allow Registrations from = Registered Users only. (Or for a specific session on the registration tab > Availability > Registered Users only.

To All,

I'm interested in the communities feedback on this one, do you see it as an issue? If so I'll look to asking the developers for their views.

Sils.
