Yes, you can see it at www.localsdmusic.com bottom left. I also noticed, if you click any of the dates it opens the event in the same window but disregards the other module settings (ie. displays other modules even if they're set to only show on Front page) Is there a setting I'm overlooking to have it open like the main calendar (ie. only JCalPro comp)?

I also noticed, if you click on mini-cal to see the calendar, not only does it open with other modules that aren't supposed to be displayed on Jcal's page, but it will stay there for the remainder of the Jcal session. Notice at my link if you click on Calendar at the top menu, it displays correctly. If you click on the mini-cal it becomes stuck in the Frontpage display.

try setting the itemid in the module parameters to match the item ID of your jal menu item.

I went in the minical mod parameters and set "Specific Itemid for displaying the module" to 6. It has no effect.
