I have just installed com_JCal-PRO-MVC_beta_1.5.3_build_278.zip on Joomla 1.5.2 and the installation went fine.

I then installed mod_jcalclient_minical_J15_beta_1.5.3_build_278.zip for the Mini-Calendar and the installation went fine.

I created a menu link to the component and it looks great on the site.

I then go to add an event... now it gives an error on the page.

Error
JHTMLcontent not supported. File not found.

If I activate the debug option... I now get the following:
Notice: Array to string conversion in /home1/hiddenh3/public_html/libraries/joomla/environment/request.php on line 97

I would really like to get this to work on this site, could someone please assist me?

I don't know what other information is needed from me. I have attached a screenshot below.

Thanks,
David

People here are asking a question about this error....do you think this might be a configuration issue or a bug?

Disappointed... I was really hoping to get this to work.  Apparently I did not read the fine print.  Under the Support menu above it says these developers do not offer tech support.

I feel like a fool.

Thanks,
David

So really no one has a idea how we can fix this?
This software, for wich i paid 20 $ is not usable in this form!
I don't believe, that the developers are not able to give us a hint...  Angry

Solved this problem with an upgrade from Joomla 1.5.2 to 1.5.4  Grin

Sorry guys, we've been testing a new release and I've been away from the forum for a bit. Let me get this new build out and we'll see what happens.

I am having the same problem. Is there anything else that can be done other than upgrading. I saw a message on another post about turning off errors but I cant find that file. On another note, the email address is not showing up.

We're not providing patches, but the upgrade process is simple.

I think someone suggested you turn off php error reporting. You'll need to talk to your service provider about that.

However, upgrading to the latest Joomla and latest JCal Pro need not affect your other components and Joomla themes. You would however need to test this on a non-production environment.

I had teh same problem because I had a security program installed. I contacted them and they solved the problem. If you are having this problem and have a security (or firewall component) installed, then you need to contact the security provider and they will fix it. Now I can add events :-)
Hope that helped...

Can you provide more details? Are you suggesting that your firewall/popup blocker was preventing you from submitting events?
