I don't want this image showing up on my calendars at all - can I get rid of it? Thanks, Janet

Hi Janet,

It's taken me hours to get rid of the unwanted icons in the monthly calendar view. The only solution I could find was to delete the code that pulls in the icon image. Pulling this out removes all the icons: icon-event-onedate.gif, icon-event-startdate.gif, icon-event-enddate.gif and icon-event-middate.gif.

I am using the spartan theme.  To get rid of the icon, I deleted the <img...> tag on line 1618 of theme.php of the spartan theme. 

The code I removed was:
<img src='$THEME_DIR/images/$event_icon' hspace='2' alt='' />

Hope this helps someone.  I see lots of us have viewed this topic.
