There is currently no installation procedure for language files, and we will not likely add this feature. Rather, we will add new languages to each new com_jcalpro release. So, what do you do if the language you need is on this board but hasn't made it to the current com_jcalpro version?

1. Download and install the appropriate translation for Joomla!. JCal Pro detects the default (published) Joomla! language and will apply a translation if available. In other words, there is no language setting in JCal Pro...this must be changed in the Joomla! language manager.

2. Download the appropriate language file from this board and extract the zip archive to your computer. You need to place the index.php file with a folder of the appropriate language name. For example, the index.php for the French translation should be in a folder called 'french'.

3. Upload the language folder containing the translation to the following location: <joomla_root>/components/com_jcalpro/languages

That's all there is to it. If the translation has been correctly created, JCal Pro should now display in the same language as selected in the Joomla! language manager.
