I've translated the index.php file in the italian language. I tested it on my site and it works for me.
Please reply to this topic if you have comments or suggestions.
Please take also note tha not all items in the JCal Pro's "edit settings" window are translated, because I haven't been able to find the reference to them in the english index.php file.
Any suggestions are welcome.

Ho tradotto il file "index.php" in italiano, L'ho provato sul mio sito e funziona.
Rispondete a questo topic se avete suggerimenti o commenti riguardo la traduzione.
Vi prego di notare che alcune voci nella finestra di "edit settings" di JCal Pro sono ancora in inglese, e questo perchè non sono riuscito a trovare la stringa che si riferisce a ciascuno di essi nel file originale in inglese.
Ogni suggerimento sarà benvenuto.

Ciao.

I've updated the Italian translation for version 1.5 but, since I've been unable to use the setlocale function to display the dates in Italian, I've modified the date format to show only numbers. Let me know if it's ok.

What updates did u add? The existing translation should have been compatible with v1.5.x, no?

1 - corrected some misspelled words;
2 - added some missing words (mostly the last lines which were not translated).
but, again, beware that I've changed the date format to only show numbers instead of names, since I've not been able to understand where to use the setlocale function.
[EDIT:] I've just found out that my "locale" issue is my hosting company's fault so, as soon as they fix it, I'll post the corrected index.php

Ok, this is my last one:
1 - corrected one or two more typos;
2 - since my provider told me my correct setting for the locale (it was it_IT.utf8 and not it_IT) I've been able to try with the full date format, but the day of the week (in the current day which is situated in the top-left of the calendar) is rendered incorrectly for me, so once again I've modified the date format deleting the day of the week.

Can you downlaod the new package, com_jcalpro v1.5.0.3 and see if this solves your formatting issues? If so, please update the file as you discuss above so i can update the download.

You can check it out by yourself on the site I'm developing (www.bridgepuglia.it): the name of the day of the week should be ending with "ì", but it ends with "ì". I'm not skilled enough with joomla right now to know whose fault it is (maybe there's something wrong with unicode setting & JCal Pro?).
I'll leave it like this until tomorrow, then I'll remove the day of the week again (this site is going to be active soon...).
Hope it helps.
Bye.
Giuseppe
PS: I'm attaching the translation of the latest language file with no modifications to the date format, so you can include it in the next release as it is. I'll make any modifications needed only by me on my local file.
