Hello Nikos,

I've had this on the back burner while thinking about it and have decided to follow your advice and start from scratch with Joom!Fish using the UTF-8 encoding.  I've just begun developing the site and there isn't that much Greek content on it yet, so now is the best time to make the switch.  Thanks very much for the advice on using UTF-8.  I'll come running back for advice if I still have problems with JCalPro after the switch.  Wink

Hi Nikos,

Would you happen to know where I can find the UTF-8 Greek language file for JoomFish?  I'm having a hard time finding it!

Hi.
Us you see in my demo http://00691bb.netsolhost.com/karditsa/ the months appear in Greek language in the calendar.

In line 40 in the greek.php use this code:
Code:
,'locale' => array('el-GR')

If you test this local and does not work this mean that: your local setting in the apache server is not correct for the Greek date and time. How you can correction these settings: I do not know. But if you upload the Greek file to the internet I think you will not have any problem.

Like me, I use the same Greek file local  with this code
Code:
,'locale' => array('el-GR')
and the Greek months does not work but the same file in the internet works perfect.

I do not use Apache but IIS6 under Win2K3 SP2. The regional settings of the server is Greek (!) and still, the dates appear as Huh? in the modules and the mambot!

FOund it!

The problem is that it is a Windows server, where el_GR.UTF8 as charset does not work. The locale set in Windows is "greek" (due to microsoft's limitations) and corresponds to codepage 1253. Hence the Huh in the date.

Anyone knows how to fix that on a Windows machine?
