hi

Hopefully only a few days before next release.

That's very good news. I appreciate your efforts and i DO understand that VirtueMart, while functionally a very nice product, is quite a mess from a developer point of view
Nothing to do with Virtuemart in the pagination case, that's a design choice of Joomla core.

Any news yet? I've had to disable the 404SEF component because of this problem.

Yes, we are testing a new version.

Before reporting any issue, please check your development environment and write them along with your report (sh404SEF version, php version of your server, Joomla! version, Virtuemart or any other content extension version).

404 error? - check $live_site config
sh404SEF minimum server requirement php 5.2

My best results using sh404SEF were using php 5.2.6-5.2.9.

Hi, all
Had the same problem.
What helped for me was: In Joomla! backend on the SEO part, I only activated use mod_rewrite. In 404sef, to avoid double url's I selected to include: menu id, article id, product id and categorie id.
Now it works fine for me (on 2 different servers).
config: Joomla 1.5.15 / VM 1.14 / PHP 5.2.4 & PHP 5.2.11
And using the good order (clean/purge cache etc etc )

Good luck!

Hi

As Danny announced a few times, we have a new version out that should fix Pagination issues with most extensions. It took a long time, so I apologize for that. It was a difficult fix to find, basically because we had to fix Joomla, not sh404sef. I am preparing a blog post about this with more technical details for those interested.

The February official release should have fixed this problem without having to make manual changes.
