Search Mambot/Plugin

The Search Mambot/Plugin for Exposé is a Joomla! extension which allows your Exposé collection, album and file information to be searched along with the rest of your content using the default Joomla! search component and module. As your gallery expands, this is a great way to track and find your media by the text associated with it. Think of it as meta tag searching for Exposé :)

Installation

1. Register and login using the form above. Subscribe to the 'Extensions Club for Exposé' and download bot_expose_search_x.x.zip.
2. Login to the administrative backend of your Joomla! site. Choose 'Installers > Mambots' from the main menu.
3. Click the 'Browse' button, locate the bot_expose_search_x.x.zip file.
4. Click the "Upload File & Install' button. If all goes well, you'll see the " Upload mambot - Success" screen. Click 'Continue' to complete the installation.
5. Select 'Mambots > Site Mambots' from the main menu. Locate 'Expose Search mambot' in the list. Publish this mambot.
6. Click the mambot name to customize the paramaters as required. In particular, set the ItemID to match the ItemID of your expose menu item.
