Installation

I'll Be There RSVP installs easily using the simple instructions below:

1. Download the latest packages.
2. Install com_IllBeThere-vx.x.zip using the component installer in the Joomla! administrative backend. 
3. Make a new component menu item pointing to the I'll Be There RSVP extension.

Configuration

The default configuration options are suitable for most installations. However, you may want to review the I'll Be There RSVP configuration options in the Joomla administrative backend in the following circumstances:

1. To disable e-mails notifications for event registrants and site administrators
2. To allow more than one RSVP per submission
3. To enable integration with Community Builder, including Avatars and custom fields utilized in this extension

Usage

After installation, there are two tasks which you must complete before I'll Be There RSVP is ready for use on the frontend of your Joomla web site:

1. Create at least one Venue
   • In the Joomla administrative backend, select 'Components > I'll Be There > Venues' from the main menu.
   • Click the 'New' button in the Joomla toolbar and complete the 'Add Venue' form.
   • Complete the new venue entry using the 'Save' button in the Joomla toolbar displayed on the 'Add Venue' form. 
2. Create at least one Session. The events to which your users will RSVP are referred to as 'Sessions'. Create a session using the following instructions:
   • In the Joomla administrative backend, select 'Components > I'll Be There > Sessions' from the main menu.
   • Click the 'New' button in the Joomla toolbar and complete the 'Add Session' form. Be sure to select the Venue tab at the bottom of the form and choose the appropriate venue from.
   • Complete the new session entry using the 'Save' button in the Joomla toolbar displayed on the 'Add Session' form. 

custom fields

I'll Be There RSVP allows you to crete both global and session-specific custom fields for your RSVP forms. Both can be linked to existing fields in Community Builder.

1. Global custom fields are created in the configuration area and will be displayed on the RSVP form for all sessions.
2. Session-specific custom fields are created in the configuration area and will be displayed only on the RSVP form for the session in which they were created.
